Clifton Travel Group Association Program for Non-Profit Organizations
The Clifton Travel Group provides a “Private Label” Booking Engine web site for our non-profit clients to use and market to their members and supporters, which provides ongoing fund raising revenues.
As members and supporters book their travel using their customized YTB Association website, it creates a consistent stream of funds from commissions paid by travel vendors. A significant portion of these commissions are then paid on a monthly basis to the non-profit organization as royalties. The booking engine uses the same technology and provides the same features and prices as other online booking engines such as Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity.
With 85% of personal travel booked online, the non-profit organization is not asking members to do anything they are uncomfortable doing or they are not already doing. They are only asking them to make a simple shift in their online booking activity.
Simply stated, all they are saying to their members or supporters is this: “We know you are going to book travel on-line and are asking that you book your travel with us. You’ll receive competitive rates or better, and you’ll be helping a cause you believe in.” Even a relatively low participation rate by membership can produce significant funds.
The Clifton Travel Group is currently engaged in promoting this YTB Association Travel Agency program to several charity organizations, churches, public school systems, universities, hospital organizations and non-profit organizations.
