  If you consider who you do business with on a regular basis,   you are paying these people money all year long. For example you are always paying money for ongoing services provided by your dentist, plumber, accountant, lawyer, car dealer, mechanic, nursery, doctor, pharmacist, restaurant and bar owner, gas station owner, salon owner, nail salon owner, jeweler, banker, mortgage agent and so forth all year long. In fact, this is my short list of service providers that I use on a constant basis. Have some fun and make your own list of whom you regularly pay money, and fill the page.

In turn, you have every right and reason to ask these people to buy something from you that they are definitely going to use: Travel, hotels, rental cars, and entertainment. In this case, the next time they travel to book their travel with your online travel agency . In the worst case, try your home based travel agency for getting the best price available. Remember, YTB Travel does not have the enormous television advertising overheads that a competing online travel agent has to pass on to their customers.

Here’s how it works. The last time I went to my dentist I asked him what he had planned for summer vacation. He mentioned that he was planning to fly to Canada for a fishing trip. I told him about my MLM travel business and would appreciate him booking all travel logistics with my home travel business. With added humor, I told him that I would be checking my travel booking stats for that month and that his travel business had better show up. Otherwise, I fire the dentist and get a new one !! Believe me, not only did he book his travel on my site, but had his friends do the same for obvious reasons. Mainly, because they saved a lot of money, but for him the potential loss of a client with a large family.

The best way to plan this “two way street” is with a smile on your face. Don’t be threatening in your pitch. Simply be practical and logical in your approach. After all, a “mutually benefiting two way street” for doing business is the American way. I challenge anyone who disputes this fact, and sales kick off strategy.

The more I think about it, you may need two pages to fill out your list of all the people you pay money to on a regular basis. What a great list of leads for you to close and kick start your YTB home based travel business !!
