Since I joined YTB Travel to make more money, I thought it would be informative to show how YTB pays out commissions for each product and service it currently offers. Therefore, please review the following product and service break down and all associated commission rates for each product offering:

 

Listed below are the current commission percentages and commission fees that are paid to YTB for products and services booked on your YTB website.

As an active RTA with YTB Travel, you earn 60% of the commission paid to YTB for all products and services booked on your web site. 

Air fare commission is calculated on the net, pre-tax fare, not on the total gross fare which, depending on the type of travel booked, can include taxes, fees or other non-commissionable items.

As you can see, YTB Travel offers products and services that people are going to use to support their daily routines. In other words, people do not need a salesman to tell them to travel, send flowers, book entertainment and so forth, because they are going to do it anyway. In fact, situations drive people to buy these products and services, so why not buy them from you? This is called a derived demand business, because an event is causing people to buy YTB services. With other products and services, sales people have to create a need for people to buy their products. These businesses are not much fun for people that do not have a sales background, or don’t have the personality or desire to become a salesman.
