How to Get Started With YTB?……Listen to Daily YTB Conference Calls

Many of you want to join YTB and start a home based travel business. Your decision is delayed because you don’t know how to get started. This can be frustrating because you often hear how well someone else is doing, or don’t know where to go for advice. Why not start at the beginning by getting trained on how to do the business and promote your home travel business . Sound’s logical to me, and can’t think of a better way to get started on the right track!

This is why YTB sponsors daily conference calls 5 days a week as scheduled below:

Monday 7:30 PM (CST) : “Getting started with YTB”

Tuesday 9:00 PM (CST) : “Association Division Training

Wednesday 11:00 AM (CST) : “Ladies only call”

Thursday 7:30 PM (CST) : “Weekly travel training”

Saturday 11:00 AM (CST) : “Leadership call”

Most of the people who do well with their YTB online travel business really know how the business works and how to promote the YTB service offering. They did not rely on “guessing what to do”. Instead, they contribute their success to getting trained so they would know what to do, how to do it, and equally important….what not to do…

The YTB daily conference calls will provide a wealth of information for those who want to create a successful home base travel agency . So, don’t let not knowing what to do delay your decision to join YTB. Visit HTTP://www.cliftontravelgroup.com ……. How to Leverage Your Success With YTB

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

If you plan to join YTB and want to be successful…..learn the business, products, services and how the compensation plan works. There is an old saying, “He who has the most information wins.” This is true in most cases with any sitation, or circumstance. In this case, YTB provides extensive training through nightly conference calls, local weekly meetings in many cities, referral and associate travel agent training, and the comprehensive E-Campus travel training programs.

In my case, I made the decison to read everything I could get my hands on about YTB, the travel industry, and the potential of the market place. By doing so, I can discuss the YTB travel business with confidence and credibility. I can also explain where and how YTB fits within the travel industry as a home based travel business . More importantly, I can answer most questions from people who are interested in joining YTB.

You often hear and read, “Most importantly, have fun with your new home based travel agency !” I don’t know how much fun it would be if I did not really understand the YTB business, products and services, or the compensation plan. In fact, I would be hestiate to tell anyone about YTB because they might ask a question I could not answer effectively. In fact, many people struggle along with a vague understanding about their home based business, and have to rely on others to get answers on a regular basis…again, not much fun and draining on those who took the time to learn the business. Even worse, downlines suffer because their upline sponsor hasn’t taken the opportunity to learn the business which impacts others.

The answer is very simple…read the training materials, attend as many training sessions as soon as possible, understand the competition and what they don’t offer, and attend nightly conference calls until you feel you can host the call. The confidence you will gain is overwhelming, and you will look forward to anyone asking you about your YTB online travel agency .

The Numbers Are In…..You decide if the Time is Right to Join YTB….

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

Is this a good time to start a home based travel business ? The answer to that question is to look at the numbers, which is the best way to make that business decision. So, check it out:

YTB travel total revenues for 2007 increased 177% to $141.3 million, as compared to $50.9 million for the previous year. Based upon the online travel business booked on the YTB rep’s websites, travel services increased 84% in 2007 to $414.5 million as compared to $225.7 million in 2006.

Since YTB is a publicly traded company on the stock exchange, the numbers for 2007 are of public record, and reflect a banner year for YTB. During the year we more than doubled the size of our network of YTB RTAs (home based travel agent) to approximately 131,000 across the country. As we continue into 2008, YTB sees no signs of slowing down, as we have expanded our services into Canada.

If you are considering starting your travel business, YTB is certainly a viable option. In addition, it is hard for the competition to overcome the success and growth rate that YTB has experienced. This makes it easier to win business within the growing travel industry.

Keep in mind that your travel biz not only sells all aspects of travel services, but also provides the ability to send flowers from your site, book all forms of entertainment and sporting events, and purchase automobiles.

YTB Achieves Record Growth for 2007 and Opens Canada, Bahamas and Bermuda for Business

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

In addition, record commissions were paid to YTB’s field team! YTB, your travel biz , ended 2007 with more than 130,000 RTAs, compared to 8,870 in the first quarter of 2005. The Company paid its Reps and RTAs more than $65 million in combined marketing and travel commissions through the third quarter of 2007. This figure represents more than the totals of the past three years combined. To top it off, YTB has opened Canada, Bahamas and Bermuda for those residents to join YTB and start their own home based travel business.

Since the inception of this company, YTB has had the vision of supporting their field reps and RTA’s with outstanding support and travel products. They knew that if they adhered to those core principles, growth for the Company and success for our field would soon follow. According to Lloyd ‘Coach’ Tomer, Chairman and Founder, YTB International, ‘We know that the heart and soul of our Company is our RTAs/Reps, which is why it thrills me to be able to pay out millions of dollars in commissions to the people who make YTB thrive.’

Now doing business in the Bahamas, Canada, and Bermuda, YTB expects the RTA base to grow even more dramatically in 2008. That will be a significant accomplishment, since YTB more than doubled the size of its RTA team from 60,000 at the beginning of 2007. Accordingly, the commissions paid in that timeframe also doubled.

Now that Canada, Bahamas and Bermuda has opened up for business, those residents should take advantage of joining YTB at the ground floor level by starting their own online travel business.

For those of you who are considering starting a home based travel business , keep in mind that economic recession has been a hot topic. According to most economic analysts, travel is one industry that will be least effected because of increases in the population, and the derived demands that cause people to travel regardless of economic factors.

Is Starting a Home Based Travel Business a Safe Bet for 2008?

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

The US economic indicators for 2008 show that the travel industry will continue to grow at a linear clip…. mainly due to the increase in the US population. Other contributing factors include the largest segment of the US society, the baby boomers, retiring with the firm objective of traveling on a regular basis. In addition, business travel and travel for leisure won’t be as effected by the predicted down turn in the general economy when compared to most other industries.

Since a minimum of 90 million people plan to book travel online in 2008, it is logical to consider having an online travel business. The first step is to become a home based travel agent . If you want to maximize your income potential, carefully select a travel mlm company for your travel biz. In this way, you not only earn revenue directly from your travel business, but also earn over ride commissions from others that you have recruited into the YTB travel business .

YTB provides a solid travel service offering that will accomodate any travel need. In addition, YTB provides flower delivery, and entertainment booking services. What’s unique is that none of these products or services need to be sold, because customers are going to buy them anyway. For example, I don’t have to convince someone to take a business trip next week, send flowers on their anniversary or go to a sporting event or concert. Why?…they plan to do these things anyway…The real good news is that they are booking these events through my YTB web site. On the other hand, one can readily say that other home based businesses that promote vitamins, cosmetics, legal services and so forth don’t quite work this way. Keep these thoughts in mind if you are looking to start a new home based business.

The YTB Success Cycle….Prospecting and Sponsoring People Into Your Business

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

A baseball anology can be used to communicate the steps involved with building your YTB team of reps. In this way your downline can better understand the all the steps involved in prospecting and sponsoring people into your online travel business.

1st Base:

  • To get to first base make a prospect call to build rapport, direct to a sizzle call and schedule an appointment in person or over the phone to leverage the next steps to reach second base.

2nd Base:

  • To get to second base, provide the prospect a menu of options to learn more about your travel biz including an invitation to a YTB vacation party, the ticket to your future DVD, the first class seat to success CD, the online presentation and the dates and times that free conference calls are scheduled.

3d Base:

  • Schedule a three way call with your YTB sponsor, or a knowledgeable person in your upline. The purpose of this call is to address any outstanding questions about YTB’s online travel business and to begin the closing process.

Home plate:

  • To get to home plate, personally assist your YTB prospect with the online sign up process, get them into training and begin your role as their YTB coach. It is important to provide this support up front to eliminate the prospect from signing up under the wrong sponsor, and to get the new rep into training while they are excited and hyped to learn the YTB home based travel business.

The importance of considering this sales process is because it is simple and can be duplicated. Duplication works in network marketing business models as long as it is kept simple. Secondly, the new YTB RTA has hands on experience with this sales process because he was the one who personally “rounded the bases,” Even better, he can coach his prospects to do the same because he has confidence in knowing that he is living proof that this YTB success sales cycle works.

At YTB You Can Either Join As a Rep, RTA, Or As an RTA & Rep…Here’s the Major Difference

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

I often get calls from people who sign up with Your Travel Biz as an Independent Rep (REP). They ask what YTB products and services they can sell, and how the Rep program works. Their second question is usually, “What is the difference between a Referring Travel Agent (RTA) and a REP? In response to these questions, I have outlined below the differences between the entry positions that are available from YTB. In total, there are three positions to consider: REP, RTA and an RTA/REP ( the RTA/REP position is available when you sign up for both the REP and RTA levels)

A REP is a person who has signed an Independent Marketing Representative (IMR) agreement with Your Travel Biz. A REP can only sell Online YTB Travel Agencies and sponsor other REPs. A REP can earn commissions and overrides on sales made by REPs in their IMR downline. A REP CANNOT SELL TRAVEL. Only an RTA can sell travel. There is no fee required to be a Rep. In this case the REP only accepts the Independent Rep Agreement in the sign up process.

An RTA is a person who has purchased an Online Travel Agency for the $449.95 fee in an agreement with the YTB Travel Network and pays a $49.95 monthly fee for a personalized website that includes a travel booking engine and its Back Office management tools. An RTA refers people to their Online Travel Agency to book travel, and earns travel commissions on travel booked though their personalized site. AN RTA CANNOT ALSO SELL YTB ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCIES. In this case the RTA accepts only the RTA Agreement during the sign up process.

An RTA / Rep is a person who has purchased an Online Travel Agency for the $449.95 fee in an agreement with the YTB Travel Network and pays a $49.95 monthly fee for a personalized website with travel booking engine and its Back Office management tools. An RTA refers people to their Online Travel Agency to book travel and earns travel commissions on travel booked though their personalized site. AN RTA and Rep CAN ALSO SELL YTB ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCIES. In this case, the RTA / REP accepts both REP and RTA Agreements during the sign up process.

In my case I wanted to start a home based travel business . Logically, I needed the ability to sell travel and wanted to sell the opportunity to become a travel agent as well. In order to sell travel and YTB online travel agencies, I signed up both as an RTA & REP. I was also very interested in selling all the other products and services that your travel biz offers including entertainment, flower order and delivery, cruises, vacation packages and now automobiles.

This attempt at clarifying the three entry positions that are available from your travel biz should make your decision much easier when you join YTB. The choice of positions is your’s to make, and select the one that best fits your needs and income expectations. I joined YTB to earn more income; therefore, the more products and services that I have to offer through my online travel agency…the better the chances I have in meeting this goal.

Why Travel Agencies Are Interested in YTB Travel

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

I know this may sound confusing, but I get calls from full service travel agencies who are interested in the products and services offered by YTB . Why would a travel agency be interested in your travel biz?

Here’s why:

My home based travel business offers much more than travel. For example, we are an MLM travel business which allow us to sell to sell an online travel agency. Most travel agents do not have the opportunity to sell travel franchises.

My YTB business travel agency also sells booking services for entertainment, which includes tickets to sporting events, and many other entertainment formats. Entertainment is a huge business and appeals to people from all walks of society.

With the YTB home travel business people can order and send flowers to anywhere at anytime, which again is a huge industry within itself.

As a YTB online travel agent, I can offer non-profits a fantastic fund raising program where they get their own online travel agency where members and supporters can book all of the services that YTB offers and get to keep 40% of all commissions to fund their projects and causes. As an example, check out what we have done for the Foundation for Cancer Research at www.causetravel.com.

We can also sell new and used automobiles on the YTB web site, because we have established business partners with automobile dealers. In effect, the buyer completes a profile on what they are looking for, and submits the completed form directly to the aligned dealers. At that point, the auto dealership assumes the sales cycle and closes the business. We get paid a generous commission for virtually doing nothing.

People that own brick and mortar travel agencies will be the first to tell you how competitive their business is becoming. YTB’s corporate travel services offer a competitive edge to a travel agency, because they can replace a competitor regardless of any long term relationship. Here’s how this works: Travel agencies compete for business travel that is used by all sizes of companies and corporations. Once a company picks a travel agent to book their business travel, they usually develop a long lasting relationship. At this point, loyalty to that travel vendor kicks in. Therefore, it is difficult to call on these companies and convince them to replace this relationship with their travel agent services. In this case, a travel agent who has a YTB travel license can offer any sized business their own YTB travel franchise, and the business can keep 40% of all the travel commissions on travel they book during the course of their daily business travel. Now the company is making money on their own business travel, and no longer has to call a travel agency everytime they take a business trip! By the way, the travel agency who is YTB licensed earns 10% of 100% of all business travel commissions. Prior to implementing this sales replacement strategy, they were earning nothing with little or no hope of breaking into this new account.

Many travel agencies have customers who want to get into the travel industry. Now a travel agent can sell a YTB travel franchise to these people and earn over-rides on their home travel business. Prior to acquiring a YTB Travel license, they had nothing to offer a person who has this need.

These are solid reasons why existing “brick and mortar” travel agencies are joining YTB Travel. Afterall, they are adding to their existing product and service offering, which results in multi-stream income. Multi-stream income is everyone’s goal.

As you can see, YTB Travel offers products and services that people are going to use to support their daily routines. In other words, people do not need a salesman to tell them to travel, send flowers, book entertainment and so forth, because they are going to do it anyway. In fact, situations drive people to buy these products and services, so why not buy them from you? This is called a derived demand business, because an event is causing people to buy YTB services. With other products and services, sales people have to create a need for people to buy their products. These businesses are not much fun for people that do not have a sales background, or don’t have the personality or desire to become a salesman.

The YTB Clifton Travel Group Is Your Travel Biz Source

Published by Your Travel Biz under YTB, YTB Source

On a daily basis, we very much appreciate receiving several www.ytbsource.com web site visits and phone calls from people who are already YTB affiliates. We sincerely hope that the information we provide is helpful to their home based travel business .

On the other hand, many think that we are the corporate web site location for YTB Travel, which is not the case. We are a St. Louis based, YTB affiliate who is RTA and Association certified. Therefore, for those of you who may be interested in joining YTB Travel, please call us anytime at 314-265-9732, and we can discuss any questions, or provide additional information for you to make an informed decision.

If you are already in YTB, please call the YTB Travel corporate number at 1-800-243-4450 for any YTB related assistance, or support issues.

Please keep in mind that the YTB Clifton Travel Group affiliate is always available to share marketing ideas that will promote your YTB home based travel agency . Why? When we all do well, the company does well, and will continue to operate over the long run.

To this point, we are implementing an easy to use video email system. For example, when you send and email and your contact opens it, there is a video of you speaking to him instead of printed text. What a great way to personlize any email, or introduce yourself to a new YTB prospect!

This system takes less than 5 minutes to set up and is as easy to use as email itself. If you would like additional information on this video email system, please give me a call at 314-265-9732 and we can discuss the application for this innovative communication tool. Even better, it is very inexpensive, simple to use, will run on any standard computer set up, and is a great way to follow up with prospects and build a solid relationship!
