Why YTB Travel is Unique to Other Network Marketing Companies

YTB Travel provides several business channels through which to earn real income. To be more specific, consider the following.

Many MLM companies offer specific products and services that can only be promoted to a limited audience, or narrow target market. For example, cosmetics are usually targeted to women, which leaves out the male population. Weight loss products are targeted specifically for those who need to lose weight and so on….Usually in both cases, the marketing of these products is person-to-person, so how many people can you meet in a day that fit these profiles?

If you look at your YTB Travel business, everyone has needs for travel regardless of gender, size or unique circumstances. Therefore, there is mass appeal and demand for travel services. Secondly, with the YTB Travel MLM program you aren’t limited to selling person-to-person. You can also sell YTB Travel services to companies of any size that use travel to conduct their business. There are endless numbers of companies to call on, so you don’t have to depend on friends, neighbors and relatives as customers.

You can also sell YTB Travel to non-profit organizations. Non-profits are one of the fastest growing industries in America today, and YTB Travel sites can be set up in their name for fund raising programs. For example, any non-profit, church, school, university, charity or organization can have their own YTB web site. When members and supporters book travel on their web site, the non-profit gets 40% of the incurred travel commissions to support their projects, causes and missions. The YTB affiliate earns 10% of 100% of all the commissions. What a great source for residual income.

Your travel biz is also in the flower delivery business. Order and send flowers to anyone,
anytime, from anywhere from the YTB web site.

Entertainment? Anyone can book entertainment and sporting events on your home based travel agency site.

As a result, YTB targets multiple, broad based target markets, and provides consumable products and services that are used by millions of people on a daily basis. In the end, the YTB affiliate is leveraged for success and income.

The YTB Opportunity and Market Place

It is important to note that YTB has four business opportunities for any individual who considers becoming an affiliate. These include the following positions:

  1. RTA
  2. Independent Rep
  3. Corporate Sales
  4. Association Rep for non-profit

This post will high light the Association Rep position for non-profits that include the following target markets.

  1. Non-profit organizations
  2. Churches
  3. Public school systems
  4. Universities
  5. Charities

By the way, Reference USA is a good source to identify non-profit organizations in your area. You will never run out of prospects to call on for this business, which makes this opportunity unique. To be more specific, many MLM Reps fail because they don’t have enough prospects and contacts to sell to….

The top 3 priorities of any non-profit is to find new money, find fresh money and to find new ways to bring in new, fresh money to support their missions, objectives and projects.

YTB Association is a viable source of fresh money for fundraising purposes because:

  • It’s passive, no member or supporter of any non-profit is being asked to do something they would not be doing anyway.
  • The non-profit earns 40% of all commissions generated
  • Vendors pay commissions, not the users of the travel system
  • Travel is growing at a 23% faster pace than the rest of the global economy.
  • YTB Association is a publicly traded company and has a 6 year track record.
  • Many of the US non-profits use YTB Association for fund raising including Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, YMCA, major universities and religious organizations.
  • YTB Association will assist in the development of travel site promotion for any non- profit that implements the system
  • YTB Association has a co-grant with Carnival Cruises for group travel for charity.
  • YTB Association is an Internet based travel company, which is the most successful niche in the e-commerce industry. Secondly, the Internet is the fastest growing technology in the world.
  • It allow the non-profit organization to take part in a trillion dollar industry.

The YTB Association web site takes little time to set up and implement. YTB does all the work and assigns a YTB account manager to the non-profit organization for all account support, tracking and operations.

All travel is insured, there is no liability for the non-profit, their non-profit status is not threatened by using this system and there is not any additional work load for the non-profit to assume by using this system. Again, a great passive fund raiser that works behind the scenes.

When you call a non-profit, ask for the Development Director. This individual will be responsible for developing new sources of donations and incoming funds. Once you call this individual I recommend the following process:

  • Introduce yourself as a YTB Association consultant who is representing an innovative fund raising program.
  • How are you currently raising funding, and would you consider viable alternatives to augment current fund raising activities?
  • Would you be interested in learning more about how we are raising funds for hundreds of other non-profits nation-wide.
  • May I email, or send information about our fund raising program to your attention, and then follow up in a week, or so.

If yes, email and mail hard copy. Include the following documentation from the YTB Association Resources back office:

  • YTB Association cover letter
  • One page FAQ
  • One page program overview
  • YTB Association calculator. Note that if only 250 people spent $2,800 per year on travel, the non-profit would receive $14,000 in commissions to fund any cause of their choice.
  • Use a separate business card because you don’t want them to go to your YTB marketing / booking web site.

Make sure you include the following web sites for the non-profit to visit:

www.ytbassociations.com YTB Association web site

www.ytbassociations.com/resources/presentation.html Presentation site

www.ytbtravel.com/demoassociation YTB Association demo site

If they want more information immediately, give them an elevator pitch and ask them to visit www.causetravel.com to see what we did for the National Foundation for Cancer Research. Well, visualize the Missouri Easter Seals logo in place of the NFCR and web site content that reflects your causes and missions.

When you follow up, expect the Director of Development to relay the following:

  • I reviewed your information and have submitted it to the CEO
  • I have submitted your information to the staff for board review
  • Right now we are very busy with another campaign, so call me in a few months
  • Great, when can we get started?

All of these responses can be managed to. In all cases, make sure they have a solid understanding about how the program works. This is the time you bring the non-profit into alignment and move them to the next step within the selling cycle.

What’s in it for you? You can earn residual income of 10% of 100% of gross commissions earned. The non-profit earns 40%. One misconception is that the YTB Association rep earns 10% of the 40%, which is not correct.

When planning a call on a non-profit, make sure to complete the following check list:

  • Make sure they are not an account
  • Make sure they are not on the no call list
  • Make sure they haven’t been registered by another YTB rep
  • Do not use any YTB Association client as a reference account unless approved by YTB Association corporate.
